Inmate charged in stabbing death of Gotti witness in PA prison

English: An FBI surveillance photo of suspecte...A federal prison inmate convicted of bank robberies in Pennsylvania and Maryland has been charged in last year's stabbing death of a convicted mobster who testified for Mafia heir John "Junior" Gotti.
Prosecutors in central Pennsylvania said Tuesday that 46-year-old Allen Archie Hurley is charged with having stabbed 43-year-old fellow inmate Joseph O'Kane some 92 times at the Canaan federal prison in Waymart in April 2010. Authorities said Hurley is also charged with possession of a sharpened weapon "commonly known as a 'shiv' or 'shank.'"
Hurley was convicted of robbing a string of banks in Pennsylvania and Maryland in the first half of 2001. O'Kane, serving a life sentence for racketeering and murder, testified for the defense in a 2009 federal racketeering case against Gotti that ended in a mistrial.
